THE DAWN OF LIGHT

The ‘Dawn of Light’ is a subject matter that has inspired one of Caroline’s largest three-dimensional ceramic pieces. As a motif, it continues to inspire, and she has now created these three drawings which explore the Dawn of Light in two-dimensions.

These drawings are approximately 450mm square, and have been created using crayon on Canson paper. They are available for sale through this website.

Drawings are a new addition to Caroline’s practice. Inspired by the sketches that she creates when designing her pots, they are a two-dimensional manifestation of her three-dimensional pattern making. The individual drawings shown below are 29x39cm, made using coloured crayons and ink on Ingres paper. They are available for sale through this website.
